Psychology supervision

Primary or secondary supervision available for the following pathways:

  • 4 + 2 Internship
  • 5 + 1 Internship
  • Re-entry to Practice
  • Transitional Program
  • Higher Education Placements

During my provisional registration period, I was guided by experienced supervisors whose dedication, supportive demeanor, and empathetic guidance significantly shaped my professional attitudes and values. These experiences inspired me to provide similar opportunities for aspiring psychologists.

I view supervision as essential to ethical practice, adherence to standards, and the application of evidence-based treatments. It also fosters self-awareness, reflective practice, and well-being among supervisees.

Creating a warm, supportive learning environment is crucial for effective supervision. When supervisees feel secure and valued, they are more likely to engage openly and share challenges, strengthening the supervisory alliance. This relationship enhances learning and empowers supervisees to reach their full potential, benefiting both their practice and their clients.

My goal is to ensure that supervisees feel safe and supported from the outset, ensuring a successful and mutually beneficial supervisory relationship.

Peer Consultation Services

Peer Consultation and Supervision for other Mental Health Professionals available to:

  • Early Career Psychologists
  • Social Workers
  • Counsellors
  • Mental Health Occupational Therapists

Continuous supervision is essential for the growth of psychologists and mental health clinicians, supporting both new and mid-level practitioners in their development and commitment to excellence.

My approach to peer consultation focuses on fostering a warm, safe environment where colleagues feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. By building trust and encouraging open dialogue, I create a space for exploring challenges and celebrating successes. This supportive atmosphere empowers peers to engage in meaningful discussions, gain insights, and achieve both personal and professional growth.
